Abstract
: Platinum-based concomitant chemo radiotherapy is considered the standard therapy in patients with advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma worldwide. Gemcitabine, a nucleoside analogue of cytarabine primarily authorized in 1996 for the cure of unrespectable pancreatic carcinoma.
