The National and International Advisory Boards are panels of senior clinicians and academics who support the journal in an advisory, non-executive capacity. They do not take part in editorial decisions on individual manuscripts.
The Advisory Boards:
- advise the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board on the journal's strategic direction, scope, quality standards and long-term development;
- suggest themes, article types and emerging topics of importance to internal medicine and allied disciplines;
- recommend qualified reviewers and prospective Editorial Board Members;
- support the journal's visibility, national and international reach, and efforts toward wider indexing.
