All articles before publication in JPSIM go through double anonymous peer review process.

2. Plagiarism Policy

JPSIM uses TURNITIN for detection of similarity index, plagiarism less than 15% will be an eligibility criterion for publication in JPSIM.

Journal of Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine (JPSIM) is a peer-reviewed open access journal owned and published on quarterly basis by Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine, Lahore, Pakistan.

JPSIM is licensed under Common Creative ( https://creativecommons.org/) attribution –Non Commercial 4.0 International License (CC) BY-NC. All the content of the journal is available in printed and online format free of cost. Although users can copy or reproduce the material using any format, medium, matrix, transfigure, remodel based upon our material but credit must be given as prescribed by common creative. Similarly material of this journal is prohibited to be used for commercial purposes.

Although the editorial board of JPSIM endeavors strictly for accuracy, authenticity, relevance and content being published in this journal. Whereas research outcomes, discussions and views belong to the authors and may not necessarily represent perspectives of the editorial board of this journal.

4. Instructions for Reviewer

Submitted manuscripts are reviewed for originality, significance, adequacy of documentation, reader interest and composition. Manuscript not submitted according to instructions will be returned to the author for correction prior to beginning the peer review/process. Revised manuscripts are judged on the adequacy of responses to suggestions and criticisms made during the initial review. Each manuscript will be check for technical, epidemiological, statistical, ethical and language corrections. All parts of accepted manuscripts are subject to editing for scientific accuracy and clarity by the office of the Editor. The editorial board of Journal of Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine holds the right to a final decision of accepting or rejecting any article from publication in the journal, at all stages including the editorial review.

5. Archiving Policy

All published issues of the JPSIM are permanently preserved and accessible in the online archives on the journal’s website. These archives ensure perpetual availability of the entire content to readers and researchers.

6. Repository Policy

The JPSIM permits published articles (post-print and the final published version) on the website. This repository policy aligns with the principles of open access, ensuring that the content is widely available and easily accessible.
